Description | SAMRIDH scheme, which stands for Startup Accelerators of MeitY for Product Innovation, Development, and growth, on August 25, 2021 has been designed to provide funding support to startups along with helping them bring skill sets together which will help them grow successful. The newly launched SAMRIDH program aims to focus on the acceleration of around 300 start-ups by extending them with customer connect, investor, connect, and other opportunities for international expansion in the upcoming three years that will follow. |

Grant Conditions & Qualifying Criteria | Qualification: Having targeted accelerator programs with an experience of running at least 3 cohorts with activities listed as desirable under SAMRIDH. It also contains Have been in the business of incubation for more than 3 years and supported more than 50 start-ups of which at least 10 have received non-public investment. 2. Have operations in India 3. Have necessary space and infrastructure to carry out activities for the start-ups. 4. Should demonstrate capabilities with regard to: a. Supporting Start-Ups for domestic and international market immersion. b. Network/Connect with Venture Capitalist/Angel Investors. c. On-boarded with leading business mentors. d. Structured cohort for accelerating deep tech software product start-ups. The grant conditions include MeitY SAMRIDH Scheme will be implemented through MeitY Startup Hub Implementing agencies going to form a project management unit This unit will be responsible for implementing this screen MeitY startup hub will take equity in startups for government contribution via promissory of or safe note same as an accelerator which will utilize for self sustainability of the program Scheme Management Committee will also be constituted in order to oversee all aspects related to the effective implementation of the scheme The Scheme Management Committee will be responsible for reviewing the progress of the program in terms of its objective from time to time This committee is also responsible for providing guidance and recommending changes or amendments for the improvement of the program |
